Job Summary Palm Build is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Superintendent / Project Manager to oversee residential reconstruction projects from scoping through completion. This hands-on role focuses on Xactimate estimating, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, and job-site execution.
Responsibilities
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, determine reconstruction scope, and develop accurate scopes of work.
Create, review, and revise Xactimate estimates based on project requirements.
Support reconstruction projects at various stages, from initial scoping through completion and closeout.
Monitor active job sites to ensure work is progressing correctly, on schedule, and to Palm Build standards.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring work is completed properly and efficiently.
Coordinate materials, deliveries, pickups, and other field requirements necessary to keep projects moving.
Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project status and job-site requirements.
Identify job-site issues, scope concerns, material needs, or delays and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
Conduct quality-control checks and address deficiencies throughout the project.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including estimates, photos, progress updates, and closeout records.
Coordinate punch-list items, final walkthroughs, and project closeout.
