Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Lead Person incumbent conducts a variety of recreational activities for the City's recreation programs involving all age groups. Assists in the supervision and direction of the recreation centers; maintains discipline of all participants in the recreation programs. Plans new activities and assists with seasonal and holiday programs. Participates in recreational projects including athletic meets hobby shows and other special events. Officiates and supervises tournaments. Prepares reports of program activity and maintains records of all material and equipment issued. Responsible for the maintenance and security of program equipment and supplies. Performs a variety of janitorial duties as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

STARTING HOURLY PAY: $12.60 p/h MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six (6) months in recreational activities could include coaching health club day care and afterschool programs. Valid driver"s license (state of residence) Must meet City's insurability requirements Other Conditions: Must pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Computer skills CPR Certification and First Aid Certification
