Westminster Canterbury Richmond

Westminster Canterbury Richmond is a premier continuing care retirement community (CCRC) known for its tradition of service excellence. As the eighth largest single-site CCRC in the country, we offer a dynamic faith-based, mission-driven environment for professionals to flourish. Westminster Canterbury Richmond is a Northside distinction, founded in 1971 by the Episcopal and Presbyterian churches and opened in 1975. Westminster Canterbury Richmond was the first among Richmond-area retirement communities to earn accreditation by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (now CARF-CCAC), the independent authority that evaluates all aspects of a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). We have held that distinction continuously since 1987. Fewer than 15% of all CCRCs in America have accreditation through CARF-CCAC.

As one of Richmond’s Top 50 employers, we offer discounted on-site early childhood education, a faith-based, mission-driven environment, and an opportunity to build meaningful relationships while providing exceptional care to our residents. If you are committed to the highest standards of excellence and service, consider making a career out of caring through our wide variety of opportunities at Westminster Canterbury Richmond.
