About the Role:
Fremont Rush Soccer Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Recreational Soccer Coach to inspire young players in Fremont, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in your community by developing skills, teamwork, and a love for the beautiful game in players of all ages and skill levels.



Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead engaging recreational soccer practices and training sessions
• Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques
• Coach players during games, providing real-time instruction and encouragement
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and schedules
• Ensure player safety by enforcing rules and monitoring field conditions
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development both on and off the field

Requirements:

• Prior experience coaching, playing, or instructing soccer at any level
• Strong knowledge of recreational soccer rules, drills, and training techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with youth and families
• Ability to pass a background check as required for working with minors
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled practices and games
• USSF coaching license or equivalent certification is a plus
