Overview

Position SummaryThe Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening and hiring qualified candidates to support the staffing needs of our IT clients. This role partners closely with account managers, hiring managers and client stakeholders to find top technical talent for contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire opportunities. The Recruiter manages the full recruitment lifecycle, delivering an exceptional candidate experience and making sure client requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.This part-time remote role is expected to last approximately two months, with the possibility of a longer-term engagement depending on organizational needs and project requirements. As part of our hiring process, candidates will be sent an email to complete a brief online assessment via our screening partner, Eximius.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and place qualified IT professionals for client engagements, including field service technicians, help desk, desktop support, systems administration, network engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, software development and other technical roles.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements, business needs and hiring priorities.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, talent communities and direct outreach.
• Use AI-enabled sourcing, screening and automation tools to build pipelines faster and improve candidate quality.
• Support high-volume and multi-location hiring for field-based roles as client needs require.
• Review resumes and screen candidates to assess technical skills, experience, certifications and alignment with client and team expectations.
• Coordinate interviews and act as the primary liaison between candidates and clients throughout the hiring process.
• Prepare candidates for interviews by explaining the client environment, role expectations and interview format.
• Manage candidate pipelines and keep accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Negotiate compensation and pay/bill rates, and manage the offer process.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks and drug screens, and support onboarding so new hires and contractors have a smooth start.
• Build and maintain a network of IT professionals to support current and future client needs.
• Meet recruiting metrics for submissions, placements, time-to-fill and client satisfaction.
• Stay informed on technology trends, industry certifications and local labor market conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience for technical positions, preferably in IT staffing, technical recruiting or professional services.
• Working knowledge of IT terminology and technologies.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a staffing agency or managed services environment.
• Knowledge of contract, contract-to-hire and direct placement recruiting models.
• Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools for sourcing, screening, talent intelligence and process automation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity and infrastructure roles.
• Experience recruiting field-based or high-volume technical roles.
