Recruiter / HR Generalist

Castor Home Health Solutions is seeking an organized, motivated, and people-focused Recruiter / HR Generalist to help grow our team and support our Human Resources department.

This position will focus primarily on recruitment and onboarding, while assisting our HR Manager with employee support, recordkeeping, and other day-to-day HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, managing multiple priorities, and creating a welcoming experience for applicants and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

• Recruit and screen candidates for caregiver, CNA, nursing, therapy, and office positions.

• Create, post, and maintain job advertisements across recruitment platforms.

• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Track applicant progress and maintain accurate recruitment records.

• Build relationships with schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations.

• Attend job fairs and recruitment events to promote employment opportunities.

Onboarding & New Employee Support

• Coordinate onboarding to help new employees transition smoothly into their roles.

• Collect and review required hiring documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements.

• Assist with verifying licenses, certifications, and required credentials.

• Schedule orientation, training, and other onboarding appointments.

• Communicate next steps and expectations to new hires.

• Work with internal departments to ensure employees are ready to begin their assignments.

Human Resources Support

• Assist the HR Manager with daily HR operations and special projects.

• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records.

• Help track required documentation
