Human Resources Recruiter
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Metairie. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing qualified talent while ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruitment strategies
- Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications and role fit
- Conduct structured interviews to evaluate experience, skills, and cultural alignment
- Perform reference checks to verify employment history and credentials
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Communicate interview feedback and hiring recommendations to support decision-making
- Follow up with new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding transition and gather feedback on their experience
Onboarding & HR Support
- Prepare new hire folders and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and timely
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure employees are effectively introduced to company policies, procedures, and expectations
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with additional HR projects as needed
- Stay current on recruitment trends and best practices to improve hiring processes
HR Operations Support
- Conduct employee exit interviews and document feedback to support retention and process improvement
- Maintain employee anniversary and birthday tracking to support recognition and engagement efforts
