Location: Remote; Northern Virginia candidates strongly preferred

Schedule: 15-20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, during business hours (7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. ET)

Compensation: $24-$27 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary

Securis is seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Recruiting & Talent Sourcing Assistant to support our growing recruiting efforts.

Working closely with our Lead Recruiter, this part-time position will focus on candidate communication, interview scheduling, proactive talent sourcing, and recruiting coordination. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, identifying qualified talent, and keeping recruiting activities organized and moving forward while creating a positive candidate experience that reflects Securis's culture and Core Values.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Coordination

• Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for candidates, responding promptly to inquiries, emails, and requests for updates.
• Coordinate phone, virtual, and in-person interviews with candidates and hiring managers, including confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and follow-up.
• Ensure candidates feel informed, respected, and valued throughout their experience with Securis.

Talent Sourcing

• Proactively source and research qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Boolean searches, and other recruiting platforms.
• Reach out to prospective candidates, introduce Securis opportunities, and gauge their interest.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Communicate and coordinate with external recruiters and staffing agencies to source candidates, review submissions, and arrange interviews for hard-to-fill positions.
• Explore new recruiting channels and partnerships to attract qualified talent.

Recruiting Operations

• Maintain accurate candidate information, communications, and hiring statuses in Rippling, our applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Track candidate outreach, interview schedules, follow-up needs, and recruiting activity.
• Assist Lead Recruiter with updating job descriptions, posting open positions, and maintaining accurate job advertisements.
• Provide basic recruiting activity updates and reports to the Lead Recruiter.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent sourcing, HR support, or a related administrative role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a warm, professional approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience researching candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, or similar recruiting platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and follow-up activities.
• Comfortable working independently in a primarily remote environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and responsibly.
• A proactive, dependable, and service-oriented mindset.

Preferred

• Resides within reasonable commuting distance of our Chantilly, VA office, with availability to participate in-person for weekly HR meetings, quarterly company meetings, and occasional company events.
