Recruiting Assistant

Recruiting Assistant manages the front-end talent acquisition process, acting as the initial point of contact for candidates and supporting office operations. Key duties include sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding field associates, often focusing on administrative, clerical, and light industrial roles. This is a fast-paced, high-energy, in-office role that requires strong communication skills and ATS experience. Core Responsibilities

  • Candidate Management: Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and guide candidates through the application, assessment, and interview process.
  • Recruiting Support: Source applicants, perform initial phone screens, and schedule qualified candidates for interviews.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Administer pre-screens, conduct background/reference checks, and ensure I-9 compliance.
  • Data Administration: Input and maintain accurate applicant records in the Bullhorn ATS.
  • Branch Operations: Support the team by managing timecards, facilitating payroll, and ordering office supplies.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in staffing, sales, customer service, or high-volume administrative roles.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Attributes: High energy, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English proficiency is often highly preferred.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
