Purpose
The purpose of the Recruiting Manager is to lead the day-to-day execution of the Charlotte Financial Services delivery team. This role is responsible for developing recruiters, driving execution, improving delivery outcomes, and building a high-performing Financial Services delivery organization through coaching, accountability, and operational discipline.
The Recruiting Manager is accountable for coaching, mentoring, and developing recruiters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high-volume demand. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, superior organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and simultaneously maintain a high level of quality and productivity.
Success in this role requires the ability to analyze recruiting performance metrics and drive improvement through coaching, accountability, and execution. The Recruiting Manager must possess strong communication and influence skills, demonstrate success building and leading high-performing teams, and effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior-level decision makers, peers, and direct reports.
As a visible leader, the Recruiting Manager creates urgency, reinforces accountability, and develops Financial Services expertise across the team while ensuring delivery activities align with business objectives, client expectations, and overall market performance.
Making an Impact
Hire, onboard, and develop Recruiters for the Charlotte Financial Services Delivery Team.
Train Recruiters on sourcing strategies, candidate discover and qualification calls, interview preparation, interview debriefs, offer management, and candidate closing techniques
Directly manage, coach, and develop Recruiters to improve fill ratios, submittal quality, interview conversion, placement outcomes, and overall market performance.
Participate in client qualification calls, delivery strategy discussions, and market education activities to strengthen recruiter expertise and improve alignment with client demand.
Create a culture of urgency, ownership, accountability, and execution that supports speed to market, delivery effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
Drive recruiter performance through real-time coaching, KPI management, structured performance reviews, and ongoing development planning.
Analyze recruiter performance data and conversion metrics, creating targeted action plans to address performance gaps and improve outcomes.
Ensure every active requisition has a clearly defined delivery strategy, ownership plan, and sourcing approach.
Own candidate quality and screening excellence through same-day Internal Review feedback, candidate assessment, and recruiter coaching.
Reinforce disciplined use of Bullhorn as the system of record and ensure compliance with delivery workflows, documentation standards, and process expectations.
Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines, redeployment strategies, and candidate marketing plans to improve fill ratios, consultant retention, and speed to market.
Demonstrate the ability to operate as a player-coach, actively participating in recruiting activities when business conditions require hands-on support.
Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, development planning, and performance reviews to improve recruiter capability, engagement, and ramp attainment.
Support client qualification, delivery strategy, and recruiting solution discussions to improve recruiting effectiveness and alignment with business priorities.
Play an instrumental role in the recruiting and delivery components of RFP responses, client pursuits, and growth initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen delivery execution, recruiter productivity, candidate quality, and overall business performance.
Build Financial Services subject matter expertise across the team through coaching, market intelligence, client exposure, and ongoing development.
Partner closely with Sales, Delivery, and leadership teams to anticipate demand, identify delivery risks, and maximize recruiting effectiveness within a matrixed environment.
Gaining Exposure
Drive strong delivery performance during periods of rapid growth and transformation by improving recruiter productivity, fill ratios, and conversion metrics that support strong P&L performance.
Deeply connected to the business they serve; has an in-depth understanding of current and future business strategy and the delivery requirements needed to execute
Act as a delivery SME to effectively present Experis delivery capabilities and provide proactive solutioning to clients.
Partner closely with Sales, Delivery, and leadership teams to anticipate demand, identify delivery risks, and improve allocation of recruiting resources.
Cultivate a panoramic view of what is happening with Experis clients and in the market.
Your Typical Day
Coach and mentor direct reports, including onboarding and ongoing development.
Utilize ATS/CRM systems and delivery reporting to drive recruiting performance, operational discipline, reporting accuracy, and workflow management.
Analyze and draw insights on recruiter performance data, creating action plans to address deficiencies where needed.
Ensure KPIs are being met on a daily basis and also validate quality and compliance expectations are met.
Meet one on one with direct reports that are struggling to fill their roles to offer suggestions and support.
Review capacity and anticipate change in demand to ensure recruiters' time is fully allocated.
