Virginia Water Systems is searching to fill one regeneration technician position immediately for our Midlothian, VA central office. Scope includes regenerating service DI and carbon tanks used in our high purity water systems. This position will also require driving our delivery truck and delivering to our satellite offices in Maryland, Norfolk, and Roanoke.  Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 pounds up to chest level. Working on your feet for 8 hours. Working in a crouched or kneeling position occasionally, as well as working on a ladder occasionally. Virginia Water Systems will train, but experience in water treatment, plumbing, and/or electrical is preferred.

Applicant must have:

1) Good driving record. CDL helpful, but not necessary

2) Willingness to learn a variety of systems

3) Good communication skills

4) Strong adaptability skills

5) Able to work on your feet for 8 hours

     Starting Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Virginia Water Systems, Inc., was incorporated in 1988 and operates one of the few DI resin regeneration plants on the east coast. The in-house DI resin plant allows us to support our ever expanding DI rental program.

 

Our clients include hospitals, dialysis treatment centers, laboratories, universities, and industrial facilities. Our current service territory includes North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, and Maryland. We provide skid and (on site installed) water treatment packages, and utilize the latest technology in filtration, deionization, water softening, reverse osmosis and UV sterilization.
