Want to be the go-to advisor for some of the largest farm operations in your region, all from a home office in the country you love? gpac is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a growing ag finance lender. They are looking for a senior relationship professional to keep their top accounts strong and growing. You will build long-term strategies with producers and work with leaders who back you.

Remote, territory-based: you must live within the Eastern North Carolina (Garner area) territory; rural candidates encouraged.

Here is what you will do. Serve as the main contact for a select book of about 20 to 30 key farm and agribusiness clients. Learn each operation inside out: its finances, plans, and goals. Lead renewal talks on pricing and terms, and coordinate the paperwork with the credit, operations, and legal teams. Protect and grow these relationships through steady outreach and fast problem-solving. Give leadership insight on portfolio health, retention, and new opportunities, and travel to clients as needed.

Here is what you bring. 7+ years of banking experience in ag or commercial lending, with a strong credit foundation and a proven record of producing new business. A strong grasp of financial statements and commercial credit, and confidence with owners and executives. Sharp negotiation, organization, and CRM skills and Microsoft Office. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field is preferred. Crop insurance knowledge is a plus. In return, you get $85,000 to $155,000 base plus strong bonus potential on new business and renewals with 401(k) (Roth and pre-tax options) with employer match, paid time off, and a competitive benefits package.
