Regional Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives and managing customer and distributor relationships within an assigned geographic territory aligned with the Company''s sales structure and market coverage strategy.
Experience
A minimum of five years of sales management experience required with at least two years selling commercially engineered product. emonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse customers, teams, and stakeholders, and build strong relationships, combined with strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record to grow sales in assigned territory required.
Preferred Experience
Regional level sales and commercial door industry experience preferred.
Education
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related is required or four years' related job experience may be used in lieu of education.
Job Duties (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)
Grow sales by identifying, prospecting, and selling commercial opportunities and maintaining existing end user customers within the assigned region.
Establish and maintain business relations with general contractors, architects, dealers, distributors and customers and prospective customers.
Prospect and cold call, maintain consistent customer contact and communication along with aggressive follow up to achieve targeted growth.
Maintain call reports, communicate new business opportunities and market intelligence to the company.
Partner with Regional and District Sales Managers, sales center and service organizations, dealer networks, and affiliated Canadian business partners to strengthen customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and drive sales performance across the region.
Develop strong relationships with builders, developers, contractors, engineers, architects and end-user customers.
Partner with key customers, district sales managers and internal teams on large commercial and strategic projects to coordinate order execution, monitor project timelines, and ensure products are delivered timely to support successful project completion.
Directs customer sales efforts by utilizing point of sale material and advertising programs.
Ensure effective channels of communication are maintained in all levels of sales, management, production, and customer service.
Analyzes competitor activities in relationship to product, pricing, promotions, and new products, etc.
Analyzes customer needs as related to product forecasting, problem solutions, personnel training, and most other activities related to maintaining a sales force.
