What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a part-time Regional Coordinator to join our Operation Christmas Child team in Albany, NY. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Regional Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

  • Oversee the OCC volunteer and collection network data for the Northeast region

  • Develop expertise with the internal volunteer website and support volunteers as needed

  • Coordinate the timely submission of collection center closure packets

  • Participate in recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and leading of administrative associates and office volunteers

  • Compose and distribute official communication and mailings on behalf of the Regional Office and provide superior customer service by answering phone and email inquiries

  • Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?

Serve with Excellence

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor''s degree or equivalent from university or college and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task

  • Previous administrative experience preferred
