Achievement First (AF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that currently supports 41 public charter schools in New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. AF has consistently been rated one of the top charter school networks in the country, and we are still learning and growing. The majority of our students are Black and Latinx children from low-income families who will be the first in their families to graduate from college. We currently employ more than 2,000 staff - 47% of whom identify as Black, Latinx, or Multi-racial - who collectively educate nearly 15,000 students in Brooklyn, NY; Providence, RI; and New Haven, Bridgeport, and Hartford CT.

We are looking for an Executive Assistant/Office Manager to join our Talent Operations team in Providence, Rhode Island.
Your Impact
This role is responsible for office management in a regional office and to provide administrative support to senior executives. The Office Manager/Executive Assistant (OM/EA) serves as the "face of AF" in our co-located office spaces. The OM/EA will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO and the Chief of Staff to coordinate calendars and prioritization across the C-Suite. The Rhode Island office management duties represent 10% of the role, and the remaining 90% of the role will be filled with executive support to senior leaders, including the Superintendent and members of the Senior Instructional Team (SIT) leadership. This position is 100% in person in our Providence, RI office; the support provided to senior executives who may or may not be based in the Providence office.

Skills You'll Have
All candidates for this position will have a bachelor's degree, two plus years of prior experience in project management, office management and/or executive support. Additionally, an ideal candidate will have a track record of managing multiple priorities at one time and the ability to distinguish between them to determine relevance.

Compensation
Achievement First sets salaries through a lens of equity, and based on the requisite skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. The salary for this position is $71,437. In order to uphold our commitment to equity, Achievement First does not negotiate pay.
