POSITION SUMMARY:

TapestryHealth seeks dynamic and experienced Full-Time Regional Medical Directors to serve as clinical leaders for their assigned regions. In this highly strategic role, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, oversee clinical operations, and serve as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders. These individuals will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant care, and fostering cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and client success teams. This leadership position is essential in supporting our incident-to billing model and upholding the highest standards of care across all services including Chronic Care Management (CCM), Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and behavioral health.

 
This role is based in the Southeast (FL, GA, AL, TN, KY)

Advanced practice providers (APPs), and driving operational excellence across regional markets

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Supervision and Compliance

· Supervise regional APPs and oversee clinical services (CCM, RPM, transitional care, etc.) delivered under incident-to billing arrangements within state licensure guidelines.

· Ensure clinical documentation and workflows support compliant billing practices.

· Review and sign off on patient care plans, interventions, and medical decision-making when required

Collaboration with National Medical Leadership

· Work closely with the National Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer to align regional practices with Tapestry’s overall clinical strategies and standards.

· Contributes to development and refinement of clinical protocols, performance improvement initiatives, and implementation of evidence-based protocols.

Sales and Client Engagement

· Serve as a clinical representative in sales meetings, strategic account discussions, and new client onboarding sessions.

· Partner with regional sales and account managers to ensure client satisfaction, clinical adoption, and program effectiveness

· Provide clinical insight to tailor services to the specific needs of clients in the region.

Cross Departmental Collaboration

· Collaborate with clinical operations teams to streamline workflows, ensure timely staffing, and address operational challenges.

· Support the integration of Tapestry’s AI and monitoring platforms by guiding APPs and facilities on effective usage.

· Offer input on clinician education, training, and support to enhance performance and quality metrics

Qualifications:

· MD or DO with an active medical license in multiple states within the assigned region (minimum of two required; additional state licensure strongly preferred).

· Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.

· Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a clinical leadership or medical director capacity; prior experience in post-acute, long-term care, or telemedicine strongly preferred.

· Experience supervising APPs and working within value-based care models or incident-to billing structures

· Proven understanding of medical billing and documentation requirements, particularly for Medicare programs such as CCM and RPM.

· Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

· Familiarity with EHR systems, care coordination, and clinical quality improvement.

· A strong track record in value-based care; MIPS Final Score above 85 in the most recent reporting year preferred.

Salary: 200-250k, full-benefits, malpractice, CME, etc.
