$120,000 - $140,000 per year

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Ensures all activities and daily actions within the Dunn-Edwards Paints store division reflect the company vision, mission, and strategic direction. In addition, he or she collaborates with organization leadership teams in formulation and execution of strategic and tactical plans to achieve company objectives.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership, training, direction, and support to Area Managers and the store teams.
• Increase sales and maximize profits in support of company objectives.
• Initiate innovative store-specific programs that maximize store visibility, traffic and sales growth.
• Empowers employees and develops their skills to achieve professional goals.
• Responsible for managing expenses to applicable budgets, budget formulation, sales forecasting; assumes full responsibility for regional financial performance.
• Responsible for ensuring the execution and implementation of company Human Resources processes.
• Ensures stores compliance with all local, state and federal laws.
• Maintains acute awareness of market and industry trends.
• Coordinates, fosters, and develops strong partnerships with various departments and stakeholders across the organization to execute both short-term goals and achieve long-term plans.
• Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure company operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
• Responsible for operational and procedural updates, store appearance, merchandising and directives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position directly manages all Area Managers and Regional Professional Color Advisor Managers within the region. The amount of direct reports varies based on region size. Regional Operational Manager is the leader for all store employees within their assigned region, responsible their development and engagement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 5 years relatable experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to read, create and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, analytical reports and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to create and manage a budget, manage and account for both shrink and swell in inventory, calculate figures in the practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and practical algebra.
