PBS Facility Service

DMV Market (Silver Spring, MD & Surrounding Region)

Overview

PBS Facility Service is seeking a field-driven, highly organized Regional Operations Manager to lead multi-site operations across our growing DMV portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the full operational health of assigned residential and commercial properties, from concierge and front desk teams to porter and janitorial staff, with direct accountability for service standards, client relationships, and workforce performance.

The right candidate is a proactive operator who leads from the front, holds teams accountable, and earns client trust through consistent execution. If you thrive in fast-paced, multi-site environments and take ownership of outcomes, this role is built for you.

What You Will Do

Operations & Quality

•Oversee daily operations across multiple residential and commercial properties, ensuring all concierge, doorman, porter, cleaner, and support staff meet PBS standards for professionalism, presentation, and service delivery.

•Conduct regular property walkthroughs and service audits to assess cleanliness, safety, staffing coverage, and overall performance.

•Identify operational deficiencies and execute corrective action plans with urgency.

•Review incident reports, daily logs, shift summaries, and operational documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Staff Leadership & Workforce Management

•Directly supervise site supervisors and field employees across multiple locations, reinforcing a culture of accountability, urgency, and professionalism.

•Develop and manage staffing schedules to ensure consistent site coverage while controlling overtime exposure.

•Monitor attendance, lateness, and call-outs, ensuring supervisors proactively address staffing gaps before they affect operations.

•Lead interviewing, onboarding, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.

Client Relations

•Build and sustain strong relationships with property managers, ownership groups, supers, and residents.

•Conduct regular client check-ins to gauge satisfaction, surface concerns, and identify opportunities for service improvement.

•Serve as the primary escalation point for sensitive operational, staffing, or resident-related issues.

•Respond to client concerns and service requests promptly and with professionalism.

Compliance, Reporting & Supply Oversight

•Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, labor requirements, and operational standards across all sites.

•Maintain organized documentation for staffing, disciplinary actions, site inspections, and incidents.

•Provide regular operational updates and reports to senior leadership.

•Oversee cleaning supplies, uniforms, and equipment inventory — coordinating deliveries and ensuring sites remain operationally prepared.

Field & Emergency Response

•Respond to emergencies, staffing shortages, and urgent client escalations as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What It Takes to Be Successful

•Proven experience leading multi-site operations in facility services, hospitality, residential property management, or building services.

•Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining morale and professionalism.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organized, composed, and solutions-focused under pressure.

•Comfortable with scheduling systems, reporting platforms, HR tools, and operational technology.

•Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

•Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required.

•Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to field emergencies when necessary.
