As a Regional Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care by providing clinical expertise and operational support across several Hometown Pharmacy locations. What You'll Do
As a Regional Pharmacist, you will:
- Provide exceptional patient-centered pharmaceutical care across multiple Hometown Pharmacy locations.
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Counsel patients on medications, disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Administer immunizations and conduct health screenings when appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are maintained.
- Assume responsibility for pharmacy operations when the Pharmacy Manager is unavailable.
- Help maintain inventory, controlled substance records, and regulatory compliance.
- Support company initiatives including Medication Synchronization (Med Sync), Medication Therapy Management (MTM), immunization programs, and wellness services.
- Build strong working relationships with pharmacy teams across your assigned region while providing consistent, high-quality patient care.
- Travel throughout your assigned region and support pharmacy operations as business needs require (up to approximately 100 miles).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Active, unrestricted Wisconsin Pharmacist License.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, state and federal regulations, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple pharmacy teams.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and pharmacy management systems such as PioneerRx.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Immunization certification.
- Experience with Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Experience with Medication Synchronization (Med Sync).
- Experience supporting multiple pharmacy locations or serving in a leadership or regional support role.

Travel Requirements
This position serves multiple Hometown Pharmacy locations throughout an assigned region. Travel of up to approximately 50 miles may be required based on business needs. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
