About the Opportunity

T3 Recruiters is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a highly respected heavy equipment and agricultural equipment dealership organization seeking a Product Support Manager to support aftermarket operations across multiple branch locations in the Upper Midwest region.

This leadership position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving customer support initiatives, supporting dealership growth strategies, and strengthening relationships between service, parts, sales, and OEM partners.

The successful candidate will serve as a regional aftermarket leader focused on performance metrics, dealership process improvement, customer satisfaction, warranty support, and team development throughout a multi-location territory.

This is not an IT or software support role. This is a field-based operational leadership position supporting dealership service and parts operations.


Position Overview

The Product Support Manager will work closely with branch leadership, service managers, parts managers, and manufacturer representatives to improve operational performance and ensure consistency throughout the assigned territory.

This role requires extensive interaction with dealership personnel and customers, along with frequent travel throughout the region.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical product knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and prior experience within heavy equipment, construction equipment, power generation, or agricultural equipment dealership environments.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Support regional Service and Parts departments across multiple branch locations

  • Assist stores in achieving OEM performance objectives and Dealer Excellence initiatives

  • Analyze operational KPIs, financial performance, absorption metrics, and customer satisfaction data

  • Conduct operational reviews, contamination control audits, and process evaluations

  • Collaborate with branch leadership to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability

  • Support warranty administration and OEM program compliance

  • Assist with implementation of aftermarket growth initiatives and customer support programs

  • Review customer survey feedback and help develop corrective action plans where needed

  • Promote safe work practices and operational consistency throughout the region

  • Serve as a liaison between dealership operations and manufacturer representatives

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives involving service operations, parts operations, and customer support programs

  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to support dealership locations and off-site meetings


Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

  • Previous experience within heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, diesel engine, or power generation dealership environments

  • Experience supporting service and/or parts operations

  • Familiarity with Caterpillar, AGCO, or comparable OEM products and programs

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Self-directed leadership style with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the region (typically 50%+ travel)

Preferred:

  • Experience with dealership operating systems such as DBS, Service Link, or related platforms

  • Previous regional or multi-location operational support experience

  • Experience analyzing dealership performance metrics and operational KPIs

  • Leadership development or supervisory training experience
