This role serves as a consultative sales professional focused on expanding market share, identifying customer needs, and delivering polymer-based solutions that support customer applications and business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager works closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to develop opportunities, manage projects, support commercialization activities, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships. Success in this role requires strong business development skills, technical aptitude, project management capabilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and execute territory growth strategies to achieve established sales and profitability objectives. - Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets and strategic accounts.
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts through proactive relationship management and consultative selling techniques.
- Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, technical discussions, and business reviews
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately document opportunities, activities, forecasts, and customer interactions within the company CRM system.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service teams to support customer projects and successful product implementation.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, industry developments, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for growth.
- Support quotation development, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial activities in accordance with company policies.
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, customer visits, and networking activities to promote company products and services.
- Prepare and present periodic reports regarding sales performance, market intelligence, key account activities, and business development efforts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving departmental and organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials Science, Technical Sales, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or related commercial roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience within plastics, polymers, composites, aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, or engineered materials industries.
- Technical sales experience involving custom-engineered products or customer-specific solutions.
- Project management experience supporting customer development projects.

Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer and conducting virtual
- meetings.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communications.
- Ability to travel domestically via automobile and commercial airline.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to visit manufacturing facilities and customer locations, including walking through production environments as required.
