Position Details

Position Details:

• Driver will start their week bringing a backhaul from Boise, ID to the DC in Salt Lake City, UT

• From the DC in Salt Lake City, UT driver will make deliveries of Costco products in dry van trailers to stores in UT, ID, and MT

• Loads have a gross weight of over 80,000lbs with a maximum of 105,500lbs

• Heavy Haul

• No touch freight

• Mixture of drop/hook and live load/unload (majority drop/hook)

Special Requirements:

• Driver is required to chain as weather dictates
• Driver must be comfortable driving in mountains and winter weather
• Driver is required to assist other DCS accounts as needed
• Driver will onboard at the Costco location in Salt Lake City, UT
• Driver will be put in a hotel for orientation. Account will provide hotel information on the welcome call
• Driver will pickup their truck at orientation in Salt Lake and drive it back to Boise after orientation

Truck Info:

• Automatic Freightliner sleeper trucks
• Trucks are assigned
• Driver must take the truck home and have a safe location to park it. Trucks cannot be parked at the account.
• Management must approve parking location.
