Position Details

Operating area not limited to TX, OK, AR, MS, TN, MO, KS and LA. States are subject to change.

Position Details:

• 100% company assets tractors, chassis, and containers

• Hands on orientations training - Work directly with a specific onboarding manager and certified driver trainers during your first week.

• Smith System Training, Close quarter maneuvering, Job Safety analysis

• Regional drivers will move rail containers to and from multiple rail ramps. Including but not limited to the Haslet BNSF, CPCK Wylie, BNSF Memphis, NS Memphis, and CSX Memphis. Loads will either deliver or pick up from customers within TX OK, AR, MS, TN, MO, KS and LA. States are subject to change. Majority of loads will run through BNSF's largest wheeled facility in the country in Haslet, Texas.

• Pickup loaded containers at the customer to drop off at ramp in Haslet for shipment across the U.S.

• There are 2 railyards account runs out of. One is located in Haslet, TX and the other railyard is located in Wylie, TX.

• All runs either begin or end in Haslet at the rail yard.

• Must have reliable transportation

• Account is a 24/7/365 facility.

• 75% Drop and Hook.

• 100% No touch freight.

Special Requirements:

• Hazmat endorsement is required 180 days after orientation - Account will reimburse.

• Account will allow drivers to use J.B. Hunt''s Hazmat training modules.

• For home time, drivers have the option to utilize one of our many J.B. Hunt facilities (Haslet TX, Dallas TX, Houston TX, San Antonio TX, Lowell AR, North Little Rock AR) to park equipment or have the flexibility to take the tractor and empty container home, or to a safe secure location for time off. (paid home mileage)

• If they do not have a safe place to park the tractor, it must be parked at the Haslet yard for time off (1150 Intermodal Parkway, Haslet, TX 76052). (no paid parking)

• Passengers/pets are not permitted.
