Description
REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
Our client is currently seeking a Regional Vice President who will oversee all operations within their assigned portfolio, balancing the needs of the company, owners, and team. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a portfolio valued at over $100 million. The RVP will be the primary contact with clients and will represent our client's culture, objectives, and values across the portfolio. This senior leadership role is responsible for setting strategy, goals, and objectives for a portfolio of properties.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage a team of Regional Managers, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and owners' goals.
Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including budget creation, P&L management, and regular portfolio performance reviews.
Operations and Reporting: Ensure the successful execution of community performance goals, manage required reporting, and conduct operational reviews for improvement.
Talent Management: Handle hiring decisions, salary administration, and team development to build a high-performing management team.
Client and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, vendors, and other stakeholders while representing our client in various meetings and events.
Innovation and Best Practices: Identify and implement new technologies, trends, and processes to optimize performance and profitability.
Acquisitions and Business Development: Assist in acquisitions, due diligence, and identifying new business opportunities.
WHY YOU MATTER
Create and implement business plans that align with the investment goals.
Analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for value enhancement, and making informed decisions to maximize returns.
Deep understanding of financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Adept at controlling expenses, optimizing revenue streams, and maximizing the property's net operating income (NOI).
Accurately assess the financial health of the asset and identify areas for improvement.
Anticipate potential challenges and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Informed about market conditions, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
Identify and implement strategies to increase the property's value, such as renovations, upgrades, and improved amenities.
Focus on enhancing the tenant experience to improve occupancy rates and resident retention.
WHAT IT TAKES
Minimum of 10+ years in multifamily, multi-location property management with a proven track record in leadership and successfully managing high-visibility or performance-challenged properties.
Strong business acumen, financial management, and communication proficiency. Ability to influence and coach teams and stakeholders.
A bachelor’s degree in real estate, management, finance, or a related field, or 10 years of multi-location management experience. CPM certification preferred.
Strong understanding of local and federal laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant Laws.
Strong leadership, adaptability, and interpersonal skills with a passion for team building and achieving high expectations.
