    We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our Occupational Health and Employee Wellness team. The Registered Dietitian will provide evidence-based nutrition counseling, develop individualized dietary plans, and support wellness programs designed to improve employee health and well-being.

    Job Summary

    The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing employees' nutritional needs, developing personalized nutrition care plans, and providing individual and group nutrition counseling. The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational health professionals, and wellness teams to provide comprehensive nutrition services.

    The role will also support workplace wellness initiatives through educational programs, nutrition workshops, and preventive health strategies. The Registered Dietitian may collaborate with agricultural and food production teams to promote awareness of healthy eating and the nutritional value of crops, fresh produce, and food products produced by the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to evaluate dietary habits, health needs, lifestyle factors, and wellness goals.

    • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on evidence-based dietary guidelines and individual requirements.

    • Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and follow-up support to employees.

    • Educate employees on balanced diets, portion control, healthy food choices, meal planning, hydration, and sustainable eating habits.

    • Provide medical nutrition therapy within the appropriate professional scope of practice.

    • Monitor employee progress and modify nutrition care plans based on individual outcomes and changing needs.

    • Develop and facilitate nutrition education workshops, wellness seminars, and group counseling programs.

    • Create educational materials covering nutrition, healthy eating, food safety, and preventive health.

    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational health professionals, and other healthcare providers to coordinate nutrition-related care.

    • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions regarding employee health and wellness needs.

    • Support the development and implementation of workplace wellness initiatives focused on nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

    • Provide guidance on the nutritional characteristics and potential health benefits of agricultural crops, fresh produce, and food products.

    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of nutritional assessments, care plans, counseling sessions, and follow-up activities.

    • Ensure nutrition services comply with applicable professional, ethical, regulatory, and patient confidentiality standards.

    • Stay current with developments in nutrition science, medical nutrition therapy, food science, and dietary guidelines.

    • Participate in employee health fairs, wellness screenings, and educational events.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food and Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

    • Current state licensure or certification where required.

    • Minimum of 2 3 years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical, community health, occupational health, or wellness setting.

    • Strong knowledge of nutrition assessment, medical nutrition therapy, dietary planning, and evidence-based nutrition practices.

    • Experience providing individual and group nutrition counseling.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong interpersonal and patient education abilities.

    • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to communicate complex nutrition concepts clearly to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record or nutrition documentation systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, Food Science, or a related discipline.

    • Experience working in occupational health, corporate wellness, employee health, or community nutrition programs.

    • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential is a plus.

    • Experience developing workplace nutrition and wellness programs.

    • Familiarity with agricultural crops, fresh produce, food processing, and food safety.

    • Knowledge of culturally diverse dietary practices and nutrition requirements.

    • Experience delivering virtual or in-person nutrition counseling.

    Working Conditions

    The Registered Dietitian will primarily work in an office, clinical, or employee wellness setting located at [Company Headquarters or Production Facility]. The position may occasionally require visits to agricultural fields, food processing facilities, cafeterias, or other company locations to support employee health and nutrition programs.
