PAY RATE
Local candidates: $60 to $65 per hour, based on experience
Traveler candidates: $2,400 to $2,600 per week, based on experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in adult cardiac scans
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer
Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologist
Associate’s degree
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
One of the following credentials:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). RDMS is not acceptable; only RDCS is accepted.
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
