Job Summary

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care. This role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; administer medications and treatments; perform clinical procedures; and provide patient education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams. The Ambulatory RN ensures accurate documentation, adherence to infection control and regulatory standards, and efficient clinic operations while promoting quality outcomes, patient safety, and culturally responsive care in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

Education Requirements

• Active Alaska RN License required at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• Case Management certification preferred

• Must have an active Alaska license at time of submittal
• SEARHC does not offer any housing or transportation. It is the agency's responsibility to ensure their employee has housing and transportation.
• Traveler will start not less than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC in Juneau.
