Job Description
Summary:
- Duration: 13 Weeks (12/15/2026 - 03/20/2027)
- Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) based on unit needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a Level Three CICU, focusing on Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Open Heart patients.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements:
- BSN required; ADN accepted with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- Active Colorado RN License or Multi-State Compact License.
- PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting.
- Previous travel experience required.
- 50-Mile Radius Rule applies.
Preferred Skills:
- Pediatric CCRN strongly preferred.
- VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience preferred.
- Teaching Hospital experience strongly preferred.
- Preference to candidates who will work 1 winter holiday (Christmas 2026 or NY 2027).
