Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse Disease Managers (RNDM) working at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C.
Requirements:
Associates Degree of Nursing
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (Any State)
A minimum of 3 years of full-time nursing experience in the outpatient clinical setting is required. Two years of experience in the management and education of patient populations with prevalent and chronic diseases to include, but not limited to: diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension is required.
Possess current certification in disease-management related area such as:
Chronic Care Professional (CCP) by Health Sciences Institute
Certified Health Coach (CHC) by National Society of Health Coaches
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) by National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators
Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) by National Asthma Educator Certification Board
Highly organized, self-directed worker able to function in a high-volume environment without distractions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient level of experience with Microsoft Office applications and strong technical aptitude.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday
No nights and weekends
8 hours a day
