Griffin is now embarking upon a new journey in the opening of its EmPATH unit; Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment and Healing unit. This will be the first EmPATH unit in the State of Connecticut. This unit will be a safe place for patients in a mental health or behavioral health crisis to receive patient-focused care in a warm, calming, and dignified environment.
