Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse demonstrates competent patient and family- centered care using the nursing process. The Registered Nurse will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care, positive patient care experiences and quality outcomes in the professional nursing practice environment. 

Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam.
  • BSN Preferred
  • Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused.
  • Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
    Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience.

License Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse license

Certification Requirements:

  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire

Specialty Certifications:

  • Surgery Center - ACLS within 1 year of hire or 6 months of promotion

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
    • Microsoft Word, Power Point, Access, & Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Meditech Epic
    • Performance Manager/NetLearning
Min: USD $38.58/Hr. Max: USD $69.44/Hr. Salary Information: Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications. Benefits:
