What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across all acuity levels, from infants to end-of-life patients
  • Manage ventilators, critical care drips, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Administer and assist with TPA for strokes and other interventions
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and update charts in Meditech Expanse EMR
  • Collaborate with hospital staff including ED physicians, respiratory therapists, and charge nurses
  • Support patient safety with appropriate use of PPE and adherence to protocols
  • Assist with procedures such as splinting, line management, and trauma stabilization

What You Need
  • Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible
  • Minimum of 2 years ED experience—trauma experience preferred
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; NIHSS and CPI or MOAB (preferred)
  • Ventilator management, critical care skills, cardiac interpretation
  • Ability to pass EKG competency exam prior to start
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
