Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room

Join our dynamic team in Fullerton, CA, where you can make a significant impact in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency room setting. Our facility is a Magnet Designated Stroke and Stemi Center, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Position Details:

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Total Staffed Beds: 320
• ER Details: 36 beds with overflow units, approximately 230 visits/day
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Case Load: All ages, primarily geriatric and adult, 10% pediatric patients
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred Certifications: TNCC, CEN, or CPN
• Experience Required: Minimum of 1.5 years in specialty, with a preference for 2 years
• Scheduling: Must be open to working weekends, with a requirement of at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle
• Floating Requirement: May need to float between like units (Tele Hold and ICU Hold as needed)
• On-call Requirement: No
• Pending License: Not accepted
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
• Charting System: Meditech
• Scrub Color: RN - Royal Blue
• Parking: Free Parking

Note: Stroke experience is required. Experience with EPIC is highly preferred. Limited pediatric experience is acceptable.
