• Shift / Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours), 18:00 6:30

Job Summary

This is a high-volume ER position providing care in a Comprehensive Cardiac, STEMI, Stroke, and Behavioral Health Center setting at an acute care Magnet-designated hospital. The position is offered at an elevated seasonal winter rate please reach out to the Account Manager for details. Cancelling due to rate change after signature will result in a system DNR.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a very high-volume ER environment encompassing Comprehensive Cardiac, STEMI, Stroke, and Behavioral Health services.
• Work every-other-weekend schedule, with potential to exceed this frequency to accommodate unit needs.
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
• Chart using Epic electronic health record system.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of ER experience, with ER experience required within the last year no exceptions
• Experience in a 200 volume facility required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• MAB certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (18:00 6:30)
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Travel pairs will not be considered
• First-time travelers not accepted

Education Requirements

• Current, valid RN License required (Pending License not accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required

• Acute Care Hospital MAGNET designated facility
• Total Staffed Beds: 426
• Very high-volume Emergency Department
• Comprehensive Cardiac, STEMI, Stroke, and Behavioral Health Center
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue (RNs); L&D/OR scrubs provided
• Charting: Epic
• Free parking on-site
• Weekends: every other, but may exceed to meet unit needs
• On-call: Not required
• Block schedule: per manager discretion
• Guaranteed Hours: facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
• Local radius: 50 miles please reach out to Account Manager for local rate

• Must have ER experience within the last year Hard Stop.
• Experience in a 200 volume facility is required.
