Job Title: Registered Nurse – Float Pool
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12 hours (36 hrs/week)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a hospital Float Pool assignment. The RN will provide flexible, high-quality patient care across multiple units based on staffing needs, ensuring safe, culturally competent, and evidence-based nursing practice.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
Identify actual and potential patient care needs and nursing diagnoses
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and care teams using SBAR
Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly
Provide direct patient care following hospital policies and evidence-based standards
Deliver patient and family education based on care plans
Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and clinical judgment
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality standards are met
Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination
Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
BLS certification (AHA required)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit hospital environment
Experience providing age-specific and culturally competent care
Acute care hospital Float Pool
High-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting
Requires adaptability across multiple units and patient populations
