Job Title: Registered Nurse – Float Pool

Location: Cincinnati, OH 
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12 hours (36 hrs/week)


Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a hospital Float Pool assignment. The RN will provide flexible, high-quality patient care across multiple units based on staffing needs, ensuring safe, culturally competent, and evidence-based nursing practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)

  • Identify actual and potential patient care needs and nursing diagnoses

  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and care teams using SBAR

  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly

  • Provide direct patient care following hospital policies and evidence-based standards

  • Deliver patient and family education based on care plans

  • Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and clinical judgment

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality standards are met

  • Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination


Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)

  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license

  • BLS certification (AHA required)

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit hospital environment

  • Experience providing age-specific and culturally competent care

  • Acute care hospital Float Pool

  • High-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting

  • Requires adaptability across multiple units and patient populations
