Job Description
We are requesting your support in identifying qualified Registered Nurse (RN) candidates for an immediate vacancy at our Client Location. We are specifically seeking nurses with experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional/juvenile, and/or emergency nursing.
Please ensure potential candidates understand that this position requires significant independence. Nurses will work closely with direct care staff and serve as the sole on-site nurse for portions of their shift. Although strong support and resources are available, candidates must be comfortable working within a secure juvenile justice environment.
Schedule: Monday Friday
Hours: 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.

Once an appropriate candidate is identified, we will schedule a call with Central Office Health Services staff. Orientation will occur on-site.
Our goal is to ensure contracted nursing staff are fully prepared to provide safe and effective care for the juveniles in our custody. Nurses must be prepared to function independently as the facility's sole medical provider and follow established medical protocols. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or WebEx and basic computer proficiency are required.

- For Nurses Only: Medical and Mental Health Care PREA Training (OPA T330)
- Orientation will take place at the facility.
- Juvenile facilities are secure environments; staff will pass through multiple locked doors to reach assigned work areas.
- Personal cell phones are prohibited inside the facility.
- Store all personal items in clear bags or clear containers; glass items are not permitted.
