Registered Nurse - ICU

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role requires a compassionate and experienced nurse who is ready to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a rural critical access hospital environment.

Position Details

• Floating between units: No
• On-call requirement: No
• Weekend shifts: Yes, 6 weekend shifts per schedule
• Block schedules: No
• Expected patient ratios: ICU - 1:2-3 (depending on acuity)

Special Requirements

• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience: Prior ICU experience is required.
• Agency RNs will function as bedside ICU nurses and will not serve in the Charge Nurse role.
• Must be competent in the care of critically ill adult patients.
• Comfortable working in a rural critical access hospital environment.
• ICU patients will be assigned to ICU-competent nurses.
• When ICU census is low, the RN may assist on the Med-Surg unit with limited assignments.
