Job Summary

This is a 1st-timer IMCU/Step Down RN travel contract position at a Short Term Acute Care facility in Lubbock, TX. The unit requires float between units and weekend availability, with an expected patient ratio of 1:4 and specialty care requirements including cardiac drips, post cath lab procedural care, and trach/vent management.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between units as required
• Provide care at a 1:4 patient ratio
• Manage cardiac drips
• Provide post cath lab procedural care
• Manage patients requiring trach/vent support
• Work weekends: 6 shifts per schedule period

Required Skills

• Experience with cardiac drips

• Dress Code (Licensed Nursing Personnel RN, LVN): Solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping. Print tops are not acceptable except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit-specific scrub attire.
• Dress Code (Unlicensed Personnel US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT): Solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space. Please park in any of the free surface parking lots with signs that say Employee/Visitor Parking.
