Job Description
Job Summary
Shriners Hospitals for Children is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within our inpatient services. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients with orthopedic, burn, spinal cord injury, and craniofacial conditions.
Key Responsibilities
The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
BSN degree
State RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years bedside RN experience
Pediatric and ICU experience
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
