Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

• Shift: 3x12 Nights (1900-0730)
• Average Daily Census: 8 deliveries/day; post-partum: 15/day
• Experience Required: 2 years in Labor & Delivery with post-partum experience
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Certifications Required: BLS, NRP
• On-call Required: No
• Floating: Will float within scope as needed
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 100-mile radius
• Pending License: Accepted
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty
• Special Requirements:
  • Sterile vaginal exam experience
  • Fetal Monitoring Skills: External/Internal Monitoring, IUPC placement/calibration
  • Experience with Pitocin administration
  • Managing/Administering Epidural Anesthesia
