• Pay Rate: $69.60 $73.60 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3 12 Hours (18:00 06:00)

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel nursing assignment in Eureka, CA. The facility cares for a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population. RNs circulate on cesarean sections. Post-partum experience is preferred. First-time travelers are welcome. This is an immediate-start opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including circulating on cesarean sections
• Care for high-risk OB patients and a culturally diverse population
• Meet a visit/patient volume of approximately 20 visits per day
• Work within a unit of 11 15 rooms/beds with an average daily census of 15 20
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required (travelers are first to float)
• Adhere to weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Comply with all facility and MSP (Aya Healthcare) guidelines

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Ability to circulate on cesarean sections
• Ability to care for high-risk OB patients
• Willingness and ability to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
• Availability to work weekends to meet staffing needs
• Compliance with RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days requested off during contract

Preferred Skills

• Post-partum nursing experience preferred

Education Requirements

• Current California (CA) RN State License required (pending license not accepted)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required

• High-risk OB unit serving a culturally diverse patient population
• RNs required to circulate on cesarean sections
• Night shift (18:00 06:00), 3 12-hour shifts
• Weekend work required to meet staffing needs
• Floating within scope required; travelers are first to float

• All orientation hours are billable for preferred profiles
