This position is a PRN position. This position does take call. The call response time is 30 minutes. Responsibilities:- Responsible to circulate multiple specialties in the OR.
- Circulating nurse is the patient advocate and is responsible for safe and effective patient care.
- Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegates tasks appropriately.
- Identifies hospital resources.
- Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
