Are there any time off restrictions here? If so, what are they?
" One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract
" The system will auto approve 14 days or less of RTO
" Every other winter and summer holiday are required and no RTO is approved
" No RTO on hard-to-fill days like Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc...

Is this client open to accommodating block schedule? No, the unit uses self-scheduling and travelers must remain flexible...

What are the ratios? Patient ratio is 1:5...

How many years of experience are required?
" 2 years of RN experience is required
" Med-Surg/Telemetry experience is required
" Teaching hospital and community hospital experience are preferred...

Are first-timers accepted? Yes...

Which certifications are required?
" ACLS and BLS are required...
" All RNs will complete a pass/fail exam during orientation for telemetry interpretation...

Are locals accepted? Yes, Lifebridge accepts local candidates...

What is the state licensure requirement? Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission...

" This is a Med-Surg/Telemetry position on 5 West GIGU at LBH Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
" The unit has an average daily census of approximately 40 patients
" The unit serves adult and geriatric patients
" Patient population consists of general Medical-Surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring
" Unit orientation includes approximately 24 hours, including two orientation days on the unit...

Any additional experience requirements?
" Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management experience is required
" On-unit and remote telemetry monitoring experience is required
" Rapid Response/Code Team experience is required
" Pre/post cardiac catheterization experience is required
" Blood product administration, central line, peripheral line and PICC line management are required
" Heparin protocol and non-titratable cardiac drip experience are required
" Feeding tube management, PCA, seizure disorder and substance-withdrawal experience are required
" Surgical drain, tracheostomy and wound/wound vac experience are required...
