Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - MS/Tele to support MS/Tele at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center - University Hospital. The unit cares for all diagnoses, unit's primary services are medical and surgical ( acute care surgery-any type of surgery), ortho/trauma overflow, pcu patients. Auto offer. we will screen work history and experience. We reserve the right to decline if work history does not reflect our need. RTOs will be review on a case by case basis. no extensive RTOs will be approved. Only 2 ill calls per contract is allowed. The 3rd call off will result in contract termination. For night shift staff, Sunday is NOT considered a weekend. So, Sundays will not be counted as a weekend shift Requirements 1+ years of experience; previous travel experience required. cannot be a first time traveler Required certifications: ACLS, BLS Required skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and management Weekend requirement: 4 Weekend shifts per 4 week period. *** For night shift staff Sunday is NOT a weekend shift. Weekend shifts for night shift is Friday & Saturday nights only. Float requirement: Travelers are expected to float out first when scheduled, and will be the first to float out. This is an expectation Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com): Parking: The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly. WMC: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days. WB: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service $196.20/year. CXS: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 $393.96/year. **Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3 5 weeks.
