Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $52.00 $56.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x12 Hours, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM; 36 or 48 hours per week; Weekend work required
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a float position in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit requiring an experienced Registered Nurse capable of working across units within a large acute care facility. Available start dates are November 2, November 16, and December 7. Floating is required as a standard part of this assignment.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
• CA RN License required (must be active at time of submission no pending licenses accepted)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Large facility experience required (400 beds or larger)
• Ability to work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated
• No RTO (Request Time Off) within the first 2 weeks of the assignment

Education Requirements

• CA RN License active and unrestricted at time of submission required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
• Large acute care facility experience required (400 beds or larger)
• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience and large facility experience (400 beds or larger)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Float position floating between units is required
• Weekend work required
• 4x12-hour shifts (36 or 48 hours per week)
• Flu vaccination required no exemptions

Important Notes

• EKG Exam administered on the first day of orientation must pass in order to move forward with the contract
• No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated
• Must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
