Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in pre-op and post-op settings ensuring comfort and safety.
Start and manage intravenous lines efficiently and safely.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Adapt quickly to the demands of a fast-paced clinical environment.
Educate patients and their families regarding pre-op and post-op care instructions.
Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Demonstrated experience in pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
Proficient in starting and managing IVs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule This is a PRN, as-needed position with flexible scheduling based on patient volume and departmental needs. ```
