Beloit Health System is looking to add Per Diem Med Pass RNs to our NorthPointe Terrace Team! Shift: Varied Schedule: Varied – Per Diem Hours per week: Per Diem Benefits Status: Limited Benefits Available Department: NorthPointe TerraceThe RN – Med Pass administers medications to residents who are functionally, physically, or socially impaired and who need assistance with supportive, nursing, and personal care. All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of Beloit Memorial Hospital's and NorthPointe Terrace's mission, vision, and values. Assesses patient for change of condition from report, care notes and fall reportsEnsures that new orders are transcribed, ordered and received and discusses changes with residentReviews labs, orders and medications with monitoring of administration and completion of documentation in relation to each reviewParticipates as a resource and team member for the PCAs during medication passes.Used base of knowledge to educate staff, residents and familiesWrites care notes on any changes in resident condition and follows up on previous notes Job Requirements Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois. Must be able to think, act, and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations. Must be self-motivated and resident centered.Must be able to relate to all residents and staff in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner under all circumstances. Must be able to work flexible hours and participate in holiday activities with residents. Valid driver's license required. CPR certification within 90 days of hireMaintains appropriate levels of confidentiality at all times. Works collaboratively with peers and team members. Follow up promptly and thoroughly with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals regarding complaints, problems, and concerns.
