Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an 11-month-old infant with a tracheostomy and G-tube.
Job Description:
The nurse will provide skilled nursing care in the home setting, including tracheostomy care, airway and respiratory monitoring, G-tube care and feeding, medication administration as ordered, vital sign monitoring, and assessment of the child’s overall condition.
The nurse will maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment while closely monitoring for changes in the child’s respiratory or medical status.
The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, calm in emergency situations, and comfortable caring for medically complex infants.
Responsibilities also include following:
The child’s individualized plan of care, documenting nursing interventions and observations, communicating with the family and healthcare team, and providing age-appropriate comfort and developmental support.
Pediatric, tracheostomy, G-tube, and home-health experience is preferred.
