Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterilization protocols, and patient safety standards
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with specific surgical specialties (e.g., orthopedics, cardiovascular)
  • Skilled in perioperative patient assessment and care planning
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital OR environment

Other Requirements:
  • No local candidates within 50 miles due to travel requirements
  • Schedule: Working 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with on-call responsibilities
  • Certification in specialized surgical nursing is advantageous
  • Commitment to maintaining certifications and staying current with best practices in perioperative care
