Registered Nurse (RN), OR Circulator

Our client, an established acute-care hospital in Western North Carolina, is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Operating Room team as an OR Circulator. This is a strong opportunity for an RN who enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced surgical environment and wants exposure to a diverse range of procedures and advanced surgical technology.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessment and documentation.

Circulate a variety of surgical procedures, primarily orthopedic and general surgery, as well as da Vinci robotic and select OB/GYN procedures. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and nursing colleagues to support safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina RN License or Compact Multi-State License with North Carolina privileges
• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred 
• 2+ years of Operating Room/Surgical Circulating RN experience required
• Experience circulating orthopedic and general surgery procedures
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Schedule

• Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Approximately 1–2 call shifts per week
